Commercial necessity usually dictates that once the terms of a deal have been agreed, the paperwork and legalities have to be dealt with quickly, efficiently and to exacting high standards. Our corporate lawyers are keenly aware of these imperatives as well as the numerous commercial issues involved in any transaction.   They strive to deliver the required result without compromising the quality of their legal work.

The corporate team is led by John Walters, a local lawyer with 25 years experience of corporate transactions throughout the region. John and his team have a broad range of first hand knowledge and experience across a variety of industry sectors, including manufacturing waste management and recycling, retail sales, security, motor retail, the professions and construction. They have recently advised on a number of mergers, acquisitions and disposals, management buy outs and reorganisations.

Funding of transactions is increasingly complicated and sometimes novel.  The money side affects the dynamnics of an acquisition and advises funding instructions with a view to protecting their investments in deals.
