TBI Solicitors has boosted its Commercial Property Team with the appointment of Andrew Beattie, a solicitor with 12 years' commercial property experience. Andrew will join TBI's Wynyard Park Office, working within TBI's multi-disciplinary business law team.

Andrew's career has included nine years working in the City of London, primarily for Nabarro, and most recently five years working with Walker Morris in Leeds where Andrew held the position of Director in the Commercial Property Department. Andrew originates from Durham and was educated at the Chorister School and Durham School. He comes from a farming family and is a member of the Agricultural Lawyers Association with considerable experience of dealing with agricultural property work as well as commercial property work.

Andrew has extensive property development experience and was part of the team who acted on the redevelopment of the Wembley Stadium and the adjacent 85 acre site. He has also represented many property investment companies and pension funds such as Save and Prosper, as well as a number of high networth individuals.

Andrew has acted for specialist occupiers such as the German creator of the world-renowned Body Worlds Exhibition, and the Royal Mail. He has advised extensively in property finance and investment, and has considerable experience in dealing with shopping centre work for both investors and occupiers.
