TBI Solicitors, the Tees Valley's largest legal firm, is tackling the laws of the jungle, in the form of H'Angus the Monkey, to help Hartlepool United's brightest young talent.

The firm is sponsoring the youth team's international tournament in Dallas and helping the Pools' efforts to raise awareness, and funds, for this important annual event.

Russ Green, chief executive of Hartlepool United Football Club is set to dress as H'Angus the Monkey, the club's mascot, and walk to Darlington on the day of the local derby.

Sponsored by TBI, Russ will be walking the 24 miles from Victoria Park, the home of Hartlepool United, to the Darlington Arena on the morning of Sunday, March 25.

To arrive in time for the 1pm kick-off, the walkers will be setting off from Hartlepool at 6am.

TBI is sponsoring the walk, and all the money raised will help fund the HUFC Youth Team's trip to the Dallas Cup at the end of March.  Additionally the law firm is sponsoring the shirts for the squad of 16 players, who will be competing in the tournament against Under 19s teams from around the world.

Russ Green said: "Playing Darlington is always an occasion, but with the need for funds for the trip to Dallas, I saw an opportunity to do something extra special and TBI have come on board and helped to raise the cash. Walking 24 miles dressed as H'Angus will be a real experience, especially when you consider the reception I'll get in Darlington, but it will be worth every step when the youth team fly out to Texas."

Steven Horsley, Partner at TBI, said: "We are only too pleased to support HUFC and specifically the youth team who are the future of the club"
