HW Chartered Accountants have successfully overseen a £multi-million sale of a leading North East metal processing company to a major international buyer.

Metal recycling is a £3.5 billion UK industry and supplies a worldwide industry. Along with the acquisition of the successful 50 year old family run company, all staff will remain and the excellent relationship with existing and long established clients will benefit the buyer and help progress the trade in Hartlepool.

Vendor, Mr Herring, is now looking forward to enjoying his retirement after helping integrate the business. He said; “It is sad to sell it but I am looking forward to spending more time enjoying myself with the rest of the family and in the absence of family succession I am delighted with the outcome of the sale thanks to HW and TBI.
