TBI Solicitors is helping youngsters across the Tees Valley further their footballing skills.

St Francis 2000 FC play in the Under 10 Durham Division One of the Teesside Junior Football Alliance and are the current holders of the TJFA League Cup.  The team is coached by Keith Everitt who was winner of the North East Unsung Sporting Hero Award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards 2007, having started coaching for St Francis in 1996.

Keith said: “Support from local businesses like TBI helps keep St Francis 2000 FC going.  It enables us to help as many youngsters as possible.  For the majority, football enables them to make friends, keep active and healthy and to learn how to be a good team player.”

TBI has also helped South Park Rangers Junior Football Club in Normanby to secure a 25 year lease on local pitches and changing facilities.  TBI donated its services to negotiate the deal on their behalf with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. 

Mark McKeever of TBI said: “South Park Rangers has 13 youth teams catering for 250 youngsters from various age groups.  They have struggled without a permanent place to play.  Now the lease is confirmed, the future of the football club is assured for some time to come.”
