Repetitive Strain Injury Compensation Claims

Are you suffering the effects of repetitive strain injury? If you are experiencing pain or have lost the ability to perform day to day tasks then compensation could be due to you.

Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) is a common condition amongst keyboard and mouse users, but is not limited to office workers. Any work that involves repetition, for example packing or production line work or certain types of beauty therapy such as massages and manicures, can lead to the stiffness, numbness and pain in hands, arms and shoulders that is associated with RSI.

Proving Liability for RSI Claims

A successful claim calls for experience and expertise in proving that the injury is due to a repetitive action and that the employer did not take reasonable steps to avoid the problem. Here at TBI we have a solid track record in making successful claims for RSI.

Recent Client Stories

Bank Worker Claims for Work Related Upper Limb Disorder

Our client worked for a major bank/credit card company for over 20 years during which time she carried out various roles.

The level of computer based work she carried out increased due to the advancement in technology and subsequently, her working hours were spent sitting at a computer and using a mouse. The working environment was strict and emphasis was placed on achieving very difficult targets.

As a result, our client developed work-related upper limb disorder (WRULD), with pain in her neck, arm and hand caused by repetitive and restricted movements. We are currently pursuing a claim against her employers for personal injury and loss.
