Personal Injury
Years of exposure to high or extreme levels of noise can permanently damage your hearing. Workers at special risk of industrial deafness are usually those in heavy industry, such as metal work, drilling and quarrying, or those workers who use noisy machinery, as in textiles, printing, transportation and agriculture.
If you worked in factories or industries with high levels of noise and have suffered damage to your hearing, then you may have a claim against your employer. Your employer should have been aware of the effects of the noise on your hearing and taken preventive action. Many cases result in claims for damages being made against the employer.
If you or a family member, friend or colleague are suffering loss of hearing and other related injuries as a result of industrial deafness, then you should seek immediate medical advice to limit the exposure to further damage. We have dealt with a number of successful claims relating to industrial deafness,
