FEATURED: What Is The Difference Between A Lasting Power Of Attorney & An Enduring Power Of Attorney?

By making a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) you are able to choose who has the responsibility of looking after your affairs if you were to become incapable of doing so yourself.

There are two different types of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA): Health and Welfare Lasting Powers of Attorney and Financial. You may need one or both, it very much depends on the circumstances.

Anyone can become physically or mentally incapable as a result of an illness or accident regardless of how old they are. A will operates only after death but in this day and age, it is a wise precaution to have appointed attorneys that you trust to make important decisions and take important actions on your behalf should the need arise.
