Celebrating Another Year Of Legal 500 Success
Tilly Bailey & Irvine is celebrating another year of success in the recently published Legal 500 – the client’s guide to UK law firms.
Published in September 2016, the guide rates Tilly Bailey & Irvine Law Firm as ‘one of the best firms on Teesside’ for its corporate and commercial practice. The guide goes on to say that the firm fields a ‘quality team that offers an unrivalled level of service and advice’. Corporate partners, John Walters and Craig Malarkey ‘form the backbone of the corporate team and offer excellent advice’.
Based in Wynyard, the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice head, Alison Leith and Debra Burton are praised for being ‘hardworking and effective; they fight hard for their clients’ and commercial property’s Andrew Beattie ‘provides first rate property advice’ and is ‘a great example of a commercially pragmatic lawyer’.
The firm is particularly delighted to have two of its specialist teams - Contentious Trusts & Probate and Professional Negligence ranked for the first time in the guide with special mention for Debra Burton and the ‘personable’ Kenton Bazeley who is rated for his ‘great combination of boldness and realism’.
Alison Leith, Partner and head of the firm’s Commercial office based in Wynyard, comments: “The Legal 500 is regarded as an industry bible for ranking law firms so we are of course delighted to not only maintain and move up in the rankings, but for two of our teams to be acknowledged for their hard work and expertise for the first time.”
