Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors backed the hugely popular Tees Barrage 10K, the annual event which invites runners to tackle the striking riverside route between the Newport and Millennium Bridges between Stockton and Middlesbrough.
On completing the run, participants not only took home a branded t-shirt, but also had access to special offers on legal services from the firm.
The Tees Barrage 10K took place on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May, 2015. The race route started and ended at the Tees Barrage in Thornaby. The 2015 race was the 10th time the event has run, and its increased popularity means that it is fully booked well in advance, with runners from across the UK travelling to participate in it.
Annaliese Barber, a Solicitor in Tilly Bailey & Irvine’s Wills and Probate department, took part in this year’s Tees Barrage 10K, the first time she has participated in this run. She commented: “We’re proud to be able to back this run which becomes more and more popular every year, and does an excellent job at promoting Stockton and Middlesbrough and this area along the River Tees. With the run passing the White Water Rafting course, the Wetland Nature Reserve, Princess Diana Bridge, Bark Endeavour replica ship and more, it really does show off some of the best this riverside area has to offer and helped keep runners going as they neared the finish line.”
