We recently hosted a drinks reception and private viewing of the YSL exhibition ‘Style is Eternal’ for over 70 clients and contacts of the firm at The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle.

We welcomed our guests to the event thanking them for having  supported the firm and also thanked Bowes Museum for the opportunity to host an event at one of its most successful exhibitions ever, with some 70,000 people  expected to attend  up until it closes on  8th November.

Bowes' exhibition curators describe it as ‘The Yves Saint Laurent retrospective -  Style is Eternal  is the first exhibition in the UK to present a comprehensive display of the French fashion designer’s work and life. The show highlights the defining elements of his vision, and the significant influence it has had on fashion and the way we understand womenswear.’

In addition, the event was the first occasion for us to showcase our  new brand identity, website and strapline – “A law firm that stands out from the crowd” to the public.

Tilly Bailey & Irvine’s marketing team – Sharon Williams, Joanna Gibson and Dan Nicholson – has been working on the new brand launch since they joined the firm in June 2015.  Sharon has over 10 years experience of digital marketing and promoting businesses with a background previously focussing on e-Commerce.  Joanna has spent most of her career successfully advising law firms across the country on marketing and event management and Dan joined the firm as a multi-media journalism graduate from Teesside University.

Sharon,  the firm’s new online marketing manager told me that : “When we started work on the new website we wanted something that showed people that we do things differently to other law firms.  We reviewed a number of different concepts but once we saw our current designs we knew they were exactly what we wanted to help drive the business forward. It’s very important that we do more than look eye catching though – a modern platform has to do so much more than that. We think this will help us achieve our goals.”

We had some fantastic feedback from our guests and Rosie Bradford, events coordinator at The Bowes Museum, sent a lovely e-mail afterwards saying,  “I was so impressed by your professionalism and the friendliness of the people I met last night that I have recommended your firm to my family.”

We can’t ask for more than that.
