Alison Taylor joined Tilly Bailey & Irvine in 2010 as part of the firm's Family law department.
Alison began her career working at the Courts, but soon made the move into private practice in 1991.
Since then, she has worked in Family Law and continues to assist clients dealing with divorce, domestic abuse and children matters.
When it comes to child arrangement matters, Alison can advise and represent parents who are involved in a dispute over arrangements for their children, either with a former partner or with a local authority.
She can also assist those who have experienced domestic abuse, assisting them to make applications to Court for orders to protect them and their children.
Alison recently represented a client whose young daughter was about to be adopted outside of the family. Due to a significant change in the client’s circumstances, we successfully prevented the adoption from going ahead and the child was returned to the client’s care.
Her outlook on matters? "To help someone who is in the midst of a crisis, give them advice and support, and help them to find a way to move forward."
