Carolyn Tilly is the Managing Partner at Tilly Bailey & Irvine Law Firm, becoming the first female to take charge of the role.
Carolyn first became part of the firm back in 1991 and subsequently qualified the following year. She has since taken the reigns of TBI from former Managing Partner, John Hall, and now overlooks a company of over 180 staff.
TBI has now grown to become the largest legal practice in Tees Valley and Teesside, with offices across the North East including its traditional roots in Hartlepool, which began back in 1842.
With the best team behind her, Carolyn continues to push for the very best for clients and works on the firm’s Strategy and Growth plan, which promises exciting times ahead for the firm.
She is a member of the department of Wills, Probate, Tax and Trusts, and she has a particular interest in elderly client matters and the creation of Family Trusts.
Carolyn has most recently been Head of the Private Client Department which includes probate, residential conveyancing and investment departments.
Carolyn is a trustee, deputy and attorney on the majority of the trusts we administer, many of which are multi-million pound trusts. She is also a professional deputy and attorney on a number of the matters, again high in value and complex due to the needs of the beneficiary.
