Jessica joined Tilly Bailey & Irvine in 2018, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge to the Private Client team.

Having originally trained on Teesside, she now returns to her roots after two years working with clients further North in Newcastle, now heading to Tees Valley’s largest law firm to bolster our well-established Private Client practice.

Part of a team hailed as 'excellent' by the Legal 500 in 2017, Jessica will be on hand to help with Wills and Trust plans, plus topics such as inheritance tax planning, estate administration, Power of Attorney and Court of Protection Administration.

Jessica will enhance our offering of the practice to the firm’s local business clients, also focusing on tax planning for high net worth individuals. Business owners inevitably spend a great deal of time focusing on the day-to-day management of their business, but many forget just how important it is to consider future plans before it is too late.

Jessica is an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly, as well as an Affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Outside of work Jessica loves horses and equestrian sports, while her enviable baking skills would delight any viewer of The Great British Bake Off.

"Jessica regularly advises clients on inheritance tax planning. She also has experience of dealing with the administration of both large and small estates."
