Experience and expertise

I have experience in a range of probate matters including drafting Wills, the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney, obtaining a grant of representation to an estate, dealing with the full administration of an estate and also Court of Protection matters.

Career highlights

I feel very privileged to have joined the firm as a Legal Secretary in September 2015 and to have been given the opportunity to work on, and be exposed to, such a wide range of probate matters which has allowed me to progress to a Paralegal in such a short space of time.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a Solicitor or at least have a career in Law. It was the idea of being able to help people in their time of need which really drew me to the legal profession.

Why law as a career?

I chose to study Law at A-Level and my fascination with the subject began to grow from there. I wanted a career that would be interesting and challenging, and Law is definitely both of these things!

Describe any interesting facts about you? Personal achievements?

I am quite proud of the fact that I am the first in my family to attend University and that I completed my full-time post graduate studies, achieving a distinction, whilst juggling a long commute and my part-time job.

What one thing could you not live without?

A good cup of tea!

Hobbies and interests

In my spare time, I enjoy baking – although I’m a bit of an amateur at the moment!

I also love to spend time with my family and friends.
