Martin Brown brings a wealth of Wills and Probate experience to Tilly Bailey & Irvine after over 30 years with the firm.
Part of TBI since the mid-eighties, Martin swiftly became a Partner three years later and continues to be a well-respected key member.
"I qualified in 1978 and have spent all my career advising clients about their personal and family affairs in both contentious and non-contentious cases."
Martin uses his broad experience to advise clients on their wills and plan financial and personal affairs generally, utilising strategies to mitigate the tax payable on death and dealing with complex estates.
His other specialties include advising on trusts for gifts, for example to grandchildren. As well as helping give back, Martin ensures the care of dependents after death and for the preservation of assets. Also the use of trusts of land for shared ownership of houses.
Martin is also a trustee of Hartlepool Carers, and a lead member of Stockton Rambling Club in his spare time - bring your boots!
