When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Solicitor

Why law as a career?

I loved the film Legally Blonde when I was younger and thought ‘yeah, I want to be like that’. I am yet to persuade John Hall to let me send my letters out on pink, scented paper.

Describe an interesting fact about yourself

I recently took part in the Great North Run to raise money for Hartlepool and District Hospice.

What one thing could you not live without?

My little boy – he makes me see the world in a whole new light. He can always make me laugh and brightens up my day as soon as I see him. He makes me realise that the small things in life are not worth sweating over.

Hobbies and interests

Running, keeping fit and spending time with my family and friends.
