Neil Taylor is a Partner at Tilly Bailey & Irvine specialising in Criminal Law.

Neil joined the firm back in the mid-90s, progressing from a trainee Solicitor and then to a Partner after the Millennium in 2001.

This area of work is very sensitive, but Neil's team continue to thrive and have expanded the TBI Criminal Law offering across Teesside into Stockton and Hartlepool.

Over the years, Neil has acted in the defence of clients charged with all forms of Crime including murder, kidnap, robbery and drugs offences. He also acts in cases surrounding numerous historical sex allegations.

A Police Station and Court Duty Solicitor, Neil was previously a school governor of a primary school in Hartlepool.

Neil actually grew up and was educated in Zambia and Zimbabwe, and was influenced by the success of Mark McCormack, an American lawyer who founded IMG, the Sports Management company.

A Level 1 FA coach, he currently coaches Wynyard's u13 football team.
