Corporate & Commercial - Solicitor or FCILEx minimum 2 years PQE

Our successful, specialist corporate team is looking for a Solicitor or FCILEx to join the team. This position will provide exposure to high quality, complex and varied work with regular client contact and business development opportunities. It is a great opportunity to use and develop your skillset in a supportive environment where you will be responsible for running your own files and to also work closely and collaboratively with the Partner responsible for the team and across the wider Commercial Law Team.

Newly Qualified Corporate & Commercial Solicitor, FCILEx or Paralegal

We also have an excellent opportunity for someone less experienced to provide support to lead advisers in Corporate and the wider Commercial team including transactional work with opportunities to develop and run your own caseload of files.  This will include attending client meetings and keeping clients informed, achieving set financial and chargeable targets and taking an active role in business development.

The right person for this role will have excellent drafting, research, IT, and communication skills and will have a high level of commercial awareness with strong attention to detail and ability be organised and work to tight timetables, targets and client protocols while maintaining high standards in terms of accuracy and quality.

Solicitor or FCILEx, 2 yrs + PQE - Wills, Trusts & Probate - Teesside

We are looking for a new team member who is able to act confidently for a broad range of clients advising on Wills, Tax Planning, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney, Applications to the Court of Protection, Assisting and advising Attorneys and Court of Protection appointed Deputies, Creation and Administration of Trusts.  We are looking for someone who will stand by our open door policy and assist existing and future members of the Department and also get involved with business development activities including developing our existing client database.

Assistant Management Accountant – Fixed-Term for a period of 12 months

We are looking for a qualified Accounting Technician, to initially work on a fixed-term contract, to assist the Finance Director in upgrading routine reports and processes following a recent transition to a new accounts package. You must be proficient Excel user e.g. Lookups & Pivot tables, able to communicate professionally with external stakeholders and able to travel between sites if required.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet control and suspense account
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Investigating variances between actual and budget
  • Assist in the preparation of regular cash flow forecasts
  • Provide cover for the team with regular duties such as bank reconciliations
  • Assist with processing sales and purchase ledger transactions
  • Assist with operational departments financial reporting on
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
